The way to Batu caves is pretty tough for people who don't like to climb stairs! But it's pretty beautiful out in the caves! Lot of eateries down the stairs! There are 2 temples inside the cave! The place is still under construction!

The best way to reach Batu caves is via the metro train. Neat and clean station.

Allow yourself 2 plus hours when you're traveling by KTM train. There are 4 tickets machines and all out of operation. You have to queue and if you miss the train must wait 45 minutes. Train stops for different clearance signals and took one hour to KL Sentral. Really don't count on KTM if you're in a hurry.

Best way to go to see batu caves because you have to pay only RM 2.4 (from KL Senter to Batu Caves) and especially, caves is next to the station, walking distance to the batu cave.. Therefore this is very good for the budget travelers to visit the batu caves

Services so bad.. lift not working. Not many spaces. Wash room is not clean.

Very beautiful and extraordinary caves. One of the caves is extremely large and you walk up hundreds of steps. There are also very cute monkeys which live here too.

Nice view on the top. But you can get VERY tired climbing the stairs especially on a hot day. There is a strange cave nearby which would cost you 5 ringgits to enter. Inside was really nothing special. I just entered the wrong cave and thought it was Batu Caves and first. Please be sure you go to the right one since Batu Caves has no entrance fee!

Very nice for a half- day trip, no entrance fees, buy take care from monkies

Great and cheap way to get from the Batu Caves to downtown KL, but we had to wait a while for the train.

Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Sungai Batu, which flows past the hill. It is the tenth limestone hill from Ampang. bed smell at overthere.

From 3 feb, 2018, no direct KTM train from kl sentral to batu caves due to upgrading works, tourists have to take free shuttle bus from sentral to sentul station then change train to batu caves(2-way ticket fare 5rm). Long waiting time for train departure, single travel time nearly 1.5 hr. I visited on Sunday, sososo many people there, fair view.

Lots of tourists pass through here, and trains aren’t all that frequent either. Watch out for the woman only carriages.

Nice place in Malaysia. There 272 steps to enter the cave...
