We went there for a drink on our last day in Langkawi. They have beautiful bar with an amazing sunset view. The whole hotel looks incredible. Although we didn’t stay at the hotel we were welcome to stay at the bar and walk around at their private beach. And as much as I don’t like sushi, their chicken version of it was the best one I’ve ever had ;)

This hotel was amazing. But was not perfect. Was very quiet with not many people staying. We just went to the hotel looking for a wedding venue. Once we told them we are not staying at the hotel we were asked to leave. This is very disappointing. Hotel is beautiful, service was average.

Hotel is beautiful, but what's the use of it to be right by the beach, when the Langkawi waters are polluted. There's not one clean beach anymore except maybe the private breach of the Datai hotel. If the water was clean, then it would justify such an expensive hotel, but I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars for a short stay, during which I can't even enjoy swimming in the ocean.

Poor service from Reception, enquired at the hotel in person for a 5 night stay. I was given the room rate but was told I wouldn’t be allowed to see the room/hotel or it’s facilities. You lost a client and I went on and booked at the new St Regis which has a better atmosphere and service note “retrain your reception staff as your losing customers. The service received from reception was 2* customer service like you would receive from a Hostel
