As a final year dental student, it was a great experience to visit a high-end multi-disciplinary dental set-up, with its large team of supporting staff. Dr. Low and Dr. Mah gave us a great clinical observation experience. Dr. Low was kind and wise, giving good advice for improving ourselves as future practitioners. Dr. Mah was smart and friendly, answering and quizzing us. Additionally, we visited the in-house dental laboratory. Overall, I would highly recommend other students to visit KLIDC.

Went to their Ampang branch to do scaling and fix my broken fillings.

The place is quite secluded and comfortable. Free parking but you have to register upon entry at the underground car park.

Was attended by Dr Shermaine. Overall experience is excellent. She listens to my comments and do everything in a careful manner.

Price is a bit steep but personally I think the service is worth the money.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the work I had done at KLIDC on my front, chipped tooth on Monday 30th October.

First of all, I got very sick following the procedure with a very sore throat culminating in the loss of my voice completely by the end of the week. Although it is possible that this was not related, I find it odd that there was no indication of any problem with my throat until a couple of hours after the the procedure as the local anesthetic started to subside and I began to experience throat irritation. I hope at least the needle was sterile, otherwise I could be in for some very big problems in the future.

Secondly, I have sensitivity now in that tooth that I never experienced before the procedure with my old filling. This manifests as a dull ache for most of the day and it is especially painful when brushing.

Finally, I drank turmeric tea the other night before bed, as I regularly do, and I woke the next morning to find the new filling stained yellow!! This is something that NEVER happened with my old filling. It looks AWFUL!

I don't know how or why KLIDC would would apply cosmetic fillings that can be stained by food or drink. It makes no sense that they would use such a material in someone's mouth. I wish I had been made aware that cheap materials were all that were available, so I could have gone elsewhere and saved myself a lot of trouble and embarrassment at work. I've only had this filling for a week and it's yellow and disgusting looking, like it's decades old.

Although I had no other complaints with the original filling, I decided to get the work done because I wasn't satisfied with the colour, it was close but not perfect. A doctor in New York told me that technology had progressed to point where a chipped tooth could be filled in such a way where you couldn't even see that work had been done on it. This is what I was hoping for when I went to KLIDC, but this is DEFINITELY not what I got.

I trusted the reviews that I read on Google and while the doctor who performed the procedure seemed professional and the procedure itself was relatively painless, I am deeply unsatisfied with the results which I am discovering to be below an international standard. Not only is the repair still obvious, but I have sensitivity that I didn't have before, and (assuming I'll even be able to bleach it back to the original colour) the new material will make it impossible for me to enjoy my turmeric teas or any turmeric containing foods unless I want a weird yellow tooth and this wasn't something I had to worry about AT ALL before KLIDC.

They have made my teeth worse therefore and now I will be looking for a doctor to REPAIR the damage that KLIDC did to my tooth.

This is the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist anywhere in the world, but even more than results like mine, which are aesthetically unpleasant, bad dentistry is dangerous. And KLIDC has certainly proven itself to be bad dentistry. That being the case, I just don't trust KLIDC anymore and I would advise not taking a risk there, especially international customers.

I see all the wonderful reviews and perhaps KLIDC is great for locals, but if you go there expecting quality of a standard that you'd get in more developed countries you will be, quite literally, sorely disappointed.

You should also know that several of the other reviews were written by people who work there. The CS manager, who made and cancelled several follow-up appointments with me after I made my complaint, in fact wrote a review praising the customer service!

I love their customer service that I can email to inquire beforehands, treatment plan was given with estimation time & pricing. No hidden or additional costs, I like the surgeon Dr Low Soo Huat who consulted me with patience and very tedious in handling every procedure with care. Highly recommended to those who had dentist phobia.
